French tastemaker label Kitsune has a talent for wheedling out talent that straddles the fences between genres. Their latest signee is South Londoner Adian Coker, and the rising star is a perfect example of their crossover preference, sitting clean between the worlds of rap, hip hop and electronics. Having already garnered the support of Radio 1Xtra, he now releases his latest EP Buena Vistas and has shared first single '24 Carat (ft Tamaraebi)'. A fast flowing mix of Kendrick Lamar-style rap, it's hard to believe Coker isn't as big as his counterparts. Innovative and filled with jazz sax samples, it's not your average money-grabbing track. Coker obviously has bigger focus, as he says the EP is "a loose exploration of the different aspects of life: love, wealth, work, family, with each song representing one of those facets." - SJ
